Create your first store

From a new account to a storefront you can open in the app — about ten minutes, no payment details needed.

A CordeliaApps store is a real storefront inside the shopper app. You build it in the admin console, and it appears to shoppers once you publish it. Nothing you do before that is visible to anyone else, so you can take as long as you like getting it right.

You don't need a payment account to start. Payments only gate publishing, not building — see Connect Razorpay when you're ready.

Create your account

Sign up at cordeliaapps.com with your email and a password. Confirm the verification email before continuing — an unverified account can sign in but can't own a store.

Set up the store

The console asks for four things the first time you sign in. All four can be changed afterwards except the store's own identity in existing orders, so pick deliberately but don't agonise.

Name your store

This is the name shoppers see in the app and on every order. Use the real trading name, not a code name.

Choose a template

The template is your storefront's entire look — layout, colour, typography, navigation. Three ship today: Gravia, DailyMart and GroFast. Every feature works identically in all three, so this is a visual choice only, and you can switch later from Settings.

Pick a language

The language your storefront's buttons and labels use. Independent of currency — a store can charge in euros and read in English.

Pick a currency

What you charge in. This one is worth getting right: it decides which payment providers you can use, and changing it after you have orders makes your sales history read in two currencies.

Razorpay settles in INR only. If you pick EUR, GBP or USD, Stripe is your payment provider.

Fill the store out

A brand-new store is empty, and an empty store won't render. Three things make it previewable:

The fastest way to see something real is the sample-data generator: Settings → Sample data → Generate sample data writes a full grocery catalog — around a hundred products across 10 categories, with real photography — in one go. It's meant for exploring the console, not for going live.

Preview it in the app

Once those three checks pass, your store becomes preview ready. It now appears in the shopper app's store list — but only for you, signed in with the account that owns it. Nobody else can see or open it.

This is the point of the two-tier check: you walk your own half-built store in the real app, on a real phone, before a single shopper can find it.

Why can't I see my store in the app?

Preview readiness needs all three: a logo, at least one category, and at least one product. The console's readiness checklist on the dashboard shows which one is missing. Also confirm you're signed into the app with the same email that owns the store — preview visibility is per-account.
