Your account
The sign-in behind every store you own — running several stores, what your user ID is for, and how deletion works.
Your account is the sign-in behind every store you own. Settings → Your account shows the three facts about it: your email, your user ID, and when you joined.
One account, several stores
An account can own any number of stores, and the store switcher at the top of the sidebar chooses which one you're working on.
Every page in the console is scoped to the selected store. If Products looks empty or Orders is missing something you know exists, check the switcher before checking anything else. It's the most common confusion in the console.
Each store is fully independent: its own catalog, template, language, currency, payment keys, delivery policy, orders and publication status. Nothing is shared between them except you.
Create another with New store in the same menu.
Your user ID
The opaque string under your email. You'll rarely need it — it's what you paste into a support conversation when someone needs to look your account up without you sending anything sensitive.
It isn't secret and isn't a credential. Sharing it lets someone identify your account; it doesn't let them into it.
Keeping the account secure
Your account controls real money — your payment keys, your catalog, your orders.
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else. A reused password is the realistic way this gets compromised.
- Don't share the login. There are no per-person roles yet, so a shared password is the only way to give someone access, and it can't be revoked without changing it for everyone.
- Keep payment keys out of chat. Paste them straight from your provider's dashboard into the console. If a key ever lands in a message, regenerate it.
Shoppers have their own accounts
Worth being clear about: a shopper's account in the app is separate from yours. You never see their password, and you see only what an order records — their name, phone and delivery address, snapshotted at placement.
Shoppers can delete their own accounts from the app. That removes their profile, addresses, cart, favourites, searches and every review they wrote — but not their orders, which remain your sales records.
Deleting your account
Contact us. It isn't a self-service button in the console, because deleting an owner account with live stores would strand shoppers mid-order.
If you want to stop trading but keep your data, unpublish your store instead — see Publish your store. It disappears from discovery and everything stays intact.
