Store profile
Name, logo, description, address, search keywords, template, language and currency — everything a shopper sees before they've browsed a single product.
Settings → Store profile is your storefront's identity. It's what shows in the shopper app's store list, and it decides what your storefront looks and reads like once someone opens it.
The fields
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Store name | Shown in discovery, on your storefront, and on every order. |
| Search keywords | Comma-separated. Discovery search matches these as well as your name. |
| Description | One short line under your store name in the app. |
| Store address | Where you trade from. Required before you can publish — a marketplace has to say who is selling and from where. Not where you deliver: that's Delivery and areas. |
| Logo | Your store's face in discovery. Required before your store can be previewed. |
| Template | Your storefront's entire look. See Choose a template. |
| Language | The language your storefront's buttons and labels use. |
| Currency | What your prices are shown in. |
Search keywords earn you traffic
The one field people leave blank that they shouldn't. Discovery search matches your store name and these keywords, so they're how a shopper who searched "vegetables" finds a store called Green Cart.
Write what a shopper would type, not what you'd put on a sign:
grocery, fresh, vegetables, fruits, daily essentials, milk, atta
Include local terms and common misspellings you'd realistically be searched for. There's no penalty for a keyword that never matches.
Your logo
Required — a store with no logo can't be previewed, let alone published.
Use a square image with the subject centred and some breathing room around it. It's rendered small and rounded in discovery, so a wide wordmark loses its ends and edge-to-edge artwork gets its corners clipped.
Language and currency are separate axes
This trips people up, so it's worth stating plainly.
Language changes the storefront's own words — buttons, labels, section headings — across every template. Six ship: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hindi. It does not translate your product names; those are whatever you typed.
Currency changes what prices are labelled with, and how they're written. Four ship: INR, EUR, GBP and USD.
Changing currency changes the display only. It does not convert your prices. Switch a store from INR to EUR and a ₹250 product becomes a €250 product. Re-price your catalog if you switch.
The two combine freely: a store can charge in euros and read in English. The
resulting formatting is handled for you — a German storefront writes 12,50 €
where an Indian one writes ₹12.50, with the decimal comma, the symbol on the
correct side and day-first dates, without you configuring anything.
Shoppers can switch their own language from the storefront's Profile screen. Your setting is the default, not a lock.
What changes when
| Change | When shoppers see it |
|---|---|
| Name, description, address, keywords, logo | Next time discovery loads |
| Language, currency | Next time they open your store |
| Template | Next time they open your store |
Nothing here needs a re-review. Editing your profile doesn't unpublish a live store.
